AI/ML Engineer

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain machine learning and AI-based solutions
• Prepare, clean, and analyze datasets for model development
• Train, evaluate, and improve machine learning models
• Work with structured and unstructured data
• Integrate AI/ML models into applications through APIs or other suitable methods
• Monitor model performance and improve accuracy, reliability, and efficiency
• Collaborate with software developers, product teams, and other engineers
• Experiment with different approaches and select suitable solutions based on business requirements
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
• Stay updated with relevant developments in AI and machine learning

Requirements

• 2+ years of relevant experience in AI/ML, Machine Learning, Data Science, or a closely related engineering role
• Good understanding of machine learning fundamentals and common ML algorithms
• Practical experience with Python and commonly used data/ML libraries
• Experience working with datasets, including data cleaning, preprocessing, and feature preparation
• Understanding of model training, evaluation, and performance improvement
• Basic understanding of statistics and data analysis
• Experience working with SQL or databases
• Familiarity with REST APIs and integrating ML/AI solutions into applications
• Understanding of software development practices such as Git, debugging, testing, and code documentation
• Ability to understand problems, research solutions, and work independently
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Nice to have: deep learning frameworks (PyTorch or TensorFlow), NLP, computer vision, recommendation systems, or generative AI
• Nice to have: cloud platforms or ML model deployment, LLMs, embeddings, vector databases, or AI APIs
